Troubleshooting & Support

How can I correct the camera movement?

Why won't my Circling Around clip start?

A Circling Around clip needs a key point to define its rotation center.

  1. Check the Key points section.
  2. If the center is missing, assign the point you want to circle in Key points. The Circling Around video walkthrough demonstrates dragging the point into that section.
  3. Start the preview again. If the missing centre was the cause, the camera can now orbit that location.

Once the center is correct, adjust the radius, altitude and camera tilt to frame the place. A track is optional for the orbit itself.

If the clip still cannot start, contact the JJ team with the exact message, app version and the point assigned as its centre.

How do I make a Track Following camera path less winding?

  1. Use the timeline to find the section with too many camera turns.
  2. Check the clip duration and the camera's calculated altitude.
  3. Manually increase the camera altitude and adjust the viewing angle.
  4. Recalculate the timeline. In the Track Following video walkthrough, this control is the standing-person icon.
  5. Return to the same section and press Space to compare the movement.

A higher camera can follow a less zigzagging path. Increasing the duration alone can have the opposite effect: the automatic calculation may lower the camera closer to the track, making its path more winding.

This adjustment changes the camera's path. It does not diagnose stuttering playback or low preview frame rate.

Why does the camera rise between Point-to-Point stops?

The Point-to-Point video demonstration shows the camera looking downward as it travels between key points. A greater distance between neighboring points produces a higher rise during the transition in that example.

Set the stopping altitude for each key point to control the view at that location. Then preview both the stop and the journey to the next point: the height at a stop and the rise between stops are different parts of the movement.
