Preview & Export

How do I preview a clip and save a version?

How do I preview a clip from a chosen moment?

  1. Open the clip and drag the white cursor on the timeline to the part you want to check.
  2. Press Space to start playback from that position.
  3. To examine a marker's appearance, move the cursor to just before the route reaches that place, then play through it. To examine a camera turn, start just before the turn.

You can move the cursor straight to another part of the clip instead of replaying from the beginning each time.

After changing the Track Following camera's angle or height, recalculate the timeline. The Track Following video walkthrough uses a standing-person icon for this action. Return the white cursor to the same section and press Space again. This lets you check the new camera path against the part you were adjusting.

How do I save a clip version before changing the settings?

Click the floppy-disk icon to save the current scenario as a clip version before making further changes. You can return to a saved scenario, including the version used to generate a finished video. This is useful before comparing a different camera view, duration or marker timing.

Saving a version preserves the clip setup. To obtain a video file for editing or sharing, you still need to create the video and locate the exported file. Saving a version alone does not create an MP4.
