Pyramids of Giza

The Pyramids of Giza are an ancient pyramid complex located on the Giza Plateau, just outside Cairo, Egypt. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, they are among the most remarkable architectural achievements of the ancient world and remain the last surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The complex includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with smaller satellite pyramids, temples, and the Great Sphinx. Constructed around 4,500 years ago, these monumental stone structures continue to fascinate historians, archaeologists, and visitors from around the globe.
